Kid-Friendly Paint Night: Families are invited to paint and learn about current and historically African American inventions, people, and topics
Black Excellence Display/Forum: The community is invited to celebrate local Black Americans that are their ancestor's wildest dreams.
Black Excellence 5k: Participants can run or walk this race while viewing little-known and well-known Black American figures along the route. This event helps us raise funds for our yearly Juneteenth Celebrations.
Hats & Heels High Tea: Ladies and gentlemen are invited to have tea and delicious bites to eat while discussing pressing issues in the Black community
Juneteenth Flag Raising: each year, we raise the Juneteenth flag to bring awareness to the holiday and acknowledge Black American freedom
Juneteenth Celebrations: This celebration commemorates the end of enslavement of Black Americans in the United States. Juneteenth also highlights the achievement and positive contributions of Black Americans and became a federal holiday on
June 17th, 2021.
